Lightweight flat cut PVC letters, CNC-cut in-house at our Telford facility. A budget-friendly option for reception walls, office interiors, feature displays, and short-term external signage. Cut to any font, size, and colour — supply-only or professionally installed across Telford, Shropshire, and the West Midlands.
Flat cut PVC letters are one of the most affordable ways to add professional, branded lettering to your business premises. Each letter is CNC-cut in-house at our Telford facility from rigid PVC sheet, producing crisp edges and accurate letterforms in any font, size, or style you need.
PVC is significantly lighter and more cost-effective than aluminium composite or acrylic, making it the go-to material when budget matters or when you are mounting onto lightweight surfaces like plasterboard, stud walls, or temporary partitions. Despite the lower price point, the finished result looks clean and professional — and at a distance, flat cut PVC letters are virtually indistinguishable from more expensive alternatives.
Where Are PVC Letters Used?
Indoors is where these letters perform best. Reception areas are the most common application — businesses across Telford, Shrewsbury, and the wider Shropshire area use flat cut PVC letters to display company names, logos, and brand messaging behind reception desks and on feature walls. They also work well in boardrooms, meeting rooms, corridors, and communal spaces where branded lettering reinforces your identity without a large outlay.
Beyond offices, PVC letters are a popular choice for gyms, salons, nurseries, dental practices, and retail spaces. Exhibition stands and event displays are another strong fit, where lightweight, reusable lettering is needed for a temporary setup that still looks sharp.
Flat cut PVC letters can also be used externally for shorter-term applications. Seasonal promotions, grand opening signage, or temporary premises all benefit from PVC’s low cost and ease of installation. For signage that needs to hold up outdoors permanently, we would recommend our flat cut ACM letters instead — aluminium composite is weatherproof, UV-stable, and built to last for years in exposed conditions.
Colour and Finish Options
Letters are finished with a painted or vinyl-wrapped face in any colour you need, including custom matching to your brand Pantone or RAL reference. Whether you need a single colour across a full set of letters or multiple colours within a logo, we can accommodate it. The face finish is applied after cutting, ensuring clean colour coverage right to the edge of every letterform.
Mounting Options
One of the advantages of flat cut PVC letters is how easy they are to mount, thanks to their low weight. Two main options are available.
Face-fixing with adhesive pads gives a flush finish where the letters sit flat against the wall. This is the simplest and most common method, suitable for most interior surfaces.
Stand-off mounting uses locator pegs to hold each letter away from the wall, creating a raised, floating effect with a subtle shadow line behind it. This option adds depth and visual impact and is particularly popular on reception feature walls and boardroom displays where you want the lettering to stand out.
The low weight of PVC also means it can be mounted on surfaces that would struggle with heavier materials — plasterboard, lightweight partitions, glass (with appropriate adhesive), and temporary exhibition panels all work well.
What We Need From You
We need vector artwork of your lettering or logo — typically an AI, EPS, or PDF file. Vector files give us the clean outlines needed for CNC cutting. If you only have a JPEG or PNG version of your logo, our design support service can convert it into a vector file ready for production.
You will also need to confirm your letter sizing, colour reference, thickness preference, and mounting method. If you are unsure on any of these, get in touch and we will advise based on your application.
